Everything I enjoyed about the old Duke 3D but with better graphics and controls. It really does feel good to play in a way Duke didn't. And they somehow manage to make the ancient Build engine look kind of beautiful.If you want to check it out and support them early it's definitely worth picking up. If you want something retro styled with a lot of content to play *right now* you might be better off getting Blood: Fresh Supply and snagging Ion Maiden in a couple months when it leaves early access with more content.. Do you love retro games full of brutal action and secrets?If yes, this is a game for you.. Its good, but for all intents and purposes, this is a hype demo and a preorder; there are 4 level packs, but 2 of them are infinite ammo mods, 1 of them is a long and very good but stand alone level and then a very short campaign. I was thinking "oh, I have an inch and its been in early access for a year, they probaly released a few more episodes since civvi reviewed it"20 dollars for 6 functional levels when I was expecting 16 when I saw 4 episodes mentioned somewhere; thats much less game then I was looking to buy a 20 and far more trust that they will matain the standard of quality from their demo when I was thinking "they release half of the levels they promised and still have steam upvotes" Theres a very real risk I'll miss the launch and I paid 20$ for 2 hours of game.. The preview campaign is really good, can't wait to play the complete game. Highly recommended.. Up the Ions! \\m\/
